A day late on a weekend update! Had a great weekend though! Jay came home Friday afternoon from another work trip, so we headed to dinner & then to the Farmington homecoming football game (in the drizzle - boo) But, it was fun despite the weather! Ella had a good time. We stayed to watch the half-time performances (band, dance, cheer) and then headed home. We were wet & tired! Note: last week Jay & Ella went to the sporting goods store downtown (Farmington) and purchased their Tiger pride apparel for the game. My response: "What if we move to Lakeville?!?!" :) I guess Jay thinks he will continue to be a loyal Farmington Tiger fan. We shall see! But Ella looked pretty cute in her Tiger sweatshirt & orange & black Tiger pride bows!!
Saturday, I took Ella to Curious George Day at Barnes & Noble. They had storytime, craft & snack for the kiddos. She had a good time (of course!)
Late in the day, I made a delicious peach crisp. For a girl who doesn't like peaches, this was pretty epic. And, I will tell you this peach crisp is SO GOOD! We had fresh peaches (ginormous ones!) from an orchard, trucked in from Washington I believe. If you get your hands on some, I suggest trying this crisp. Top it with the cinnamon-flavored Cool Whip. It's a perfect fall day treat!
In other news, Ella is having a great time at Kinder Kollege at Anna's Bananas. Here's a run down of pictures from the past week or so!
What a cheeseball with her smile!!
