May 2018 included....
Ella being chosen as the Student of the Month from her classroom!
The trait was responsibility. She makes us so proud. Doesn't she look so cute!
It was an extra special Student of the Month ceremony because her friend Claire was also a Student of the Month! Hurray for responsible friends! HA!!
Ella and I were able to see Claire again at one of the Team BFF dance competitions! Her BFFs go to the same elementary school but dance at the studio where Ella used to dance. It's so fun that they all still want to support each other!
For Mother's Day, Jay, Ella and I headed out for coffee and bagels (heart shaped bagels!)

I couldn't tell you what else we did for Mother's Day, but I think I was gifted a gift card to the outlet mall - Vera Bradley here I come!!
The Third Graders went on a field trip to Target Field to learn about the Twins stadium and get a tour all while sneaking in some math lessons! Ella had a great time and obviously had to wear some MN Twins gear for the day!!
We have this tree that always blooms one time in the spring and it's so pretty!!
The After School program put on a talent show and these friends all took part!
And I crafted a Mother's Day project for my mom this year! We gifted her an iPad for her 60th birthday, so I wanted (needed) to come up with a more budget friendly gift for Mother's Day! The string art is all the rage and I figured I could just do that myself. It turned out so cute!
I wish I would have made one for myself!
TA DA!
Remember the royal wedding! Of course I was up early to watch!
And then Ella had her spring dance show!
At the end of the month, school held the annual track & field day.
You know, Ella's favorite (next to the cross country meet -- or not!)
But she did great and it was a nice day!!
Memorial Day weekend, Ella and I headed to Worthington to celebrate Lexi's 4th birthday!
It was a Curious George themed party! But she got all kinds of Peppa Pig gifts. So cute!
